Like the NHL All-Star Game, we have a draft before we play. Also like the NHL All-Star Game, the last pick gets a car. Unlike the NHL All-Star Game, Mr. Irrelevant doesn’t go home with a shitty Honda Crosstour - he gets a Lincoln Navigator.

Stache:	I'm not even friends with him anymore, haha. Anyways, what of him?
Mad Dog:	Don't know. Saw the message. Considered it for a little while. Maybe a solid three seconds. And then closed the box.
Stache:	Haha, you dick. We need a goalie for Stanley Kegs though. Preferably one we can hurt and not feel bad about.
Mad Dog:	Well... Josh...
Stache:	Exactly.
Mad Dog:	Does this mean I should talk to him? For you? Not sure I even like you enough for that...
Stache:	Okay, well how about this. Do you like physically hurting people that you don't like enough to establish communication once again in, say, May, mail it in for a couple of weeks, and THEN invite him to play hockey, quietly plotting ways to injure him with the ass-end of your stick? Because I think you do.
Mad Dog:	Hahahahahahaha. You know me so well.
Stache:	You've got some time. Namely, three months. I think you can figure out bullshitting by then.

Stanley Keg 4: January 28, 2012

Barring some freak snowstorm, which is totally going to happen now that I’ve added that caveat:

THE FOURTH STANLEY KEG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

January 28, 2012, 1 PM
John A Ahern Field, Cambridge (same place as all the rest of them)

We also may or may not be (read: will be) filming some of the games as part of a new project, so if you want to show up earlier and help us out, do it up.

P.S.: You won’t be missing any football playoff games or meaningful hockey, that’s why we picked this date. Pro Bowl/All-Star weekend! Cha-ching!

No Stanley Keg On January 1

Hey guys. So after a lot of hard work and a lot of deliberation, we’ve decided to cancel the Stanley Keg Winter Classic that was going to take place in Hampton, NH on New Year’s Day. THIS DOESN’T AFFECT THE NEXT BOSTON STANLEY KEG GAMES ON JANUARY 28. Just wanted to make that clear.
